Don’t forget to register your interest in the singles knockout with your captain, so he can forward on the teams nominations

End Of Season

Wednesday the 13th November is for you to play any rearranged matches. The results to be sent to the secretary by 17th November. Can you please check you results and let me have any that are missing before the 17th November, as after this point they cannot be changed or wont be counted.

There will be a committee meeting on the 20th November at 8pm at the Haywood club for the committee members, with the presentation being on the 27th November at the Haywood Club, with team registration and the 180 knockout starting from 8:30pm with the presentation starting around 9pm.

We will be pushing to start the new season on the 4th of December.

The singles Knockout, I didn’t get around to booking the venue for the end of this season. I have now provisionally booked the venue for the end of the next season, so once I have confirmation of the number of teams in the league I will release the dates for the knockout.

The knockout will be limited to 64 players due to being able to complete this in one night, so if we stay with 10 teams, it will be a maximum of 6 players per team, and if we manage to go back up to 12 teams, it will be a maximum of 5 players per team, the remaining places will be on a first come first serve basis once all teams have confirmed their places, entry into this will be £2 per player.

Lamb and Flag Moved

The Lamb and Flag have now moved Pub to the Woolpack in Weston, this is located in the centre of Weston - The Grn, Weston, Stafford ST18 0JH .

Crowding on the Oche

It has been mentioned on a number of occasion that people are being crowded on the oche while trying to throw their darts.

Please allow the person throwing their darts adequate space to be able to throw their darts and to take a step back to think should they need to.

Euro’s 2024

Due to England doing so well in the Euro’s and their next match being on Wednesday the 10th, The decision has been made to postpone the matches until the end of the season and will now be played on the 6th November. The scheduled matches will return to normal on the 17th July as stated in the current fixture list.

End Of Season VIII

With the end of the season fast approaching, Can all captains please check the results and achievements for your teams (Mistakes do happen), any mistakes not brought to my attention before the 18th June 2024 will not be corrected, and could affect your prize money.

There will be a week after the end of the season for playing any rearranged matches and results will need to reach the secretary by the 16th June 2024 to be counted. There will be a committee meeting on the 19th June and the Presentation and Registration evening will be on the 26th June 2024, ready for the new season to kick off on the 3rd July 2024.

The Presentation evening is at the Haywood Sports and Social Club in Great Haywood, and will kick off with the 180 knockout starting at 8:30pm with the General update and Presentation commencing from around 9pm, You need to attend or have a representative to collect your prize, any prizes not collected on the night will not be carried over.
